Data collected
This site only collects the information you send us voluntarily through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), number of participants, preferred dates and the content of your message.
No user accounts, no payments and no sensitive data are processed on this site.
Purpose and legal basis
This data is used solely to handle your request, reply to you and, where applicable, organise your trip. It is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for advertising purposes.
Processing is based on your own decision to get in touch, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Recipients
Your messages are received in the Discover Orca mailbox, hosted by Infomaniak (Switzerland). Where organising your trip requires it, strictly necessary information (name, number of participants, dates) may be shared with our local Norwegian partner to book the boat or the accommodation.
Retention period
Requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for as long as needed to handle the exchange, then deleted. Data linked to a confirmed trip is kept for the period required by our accounting and legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. No profiling is carried out. If a privacy-friendly analytics tool is added later, this page will be updated accordingly.
Your rights
You may at any time ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@discover-orca.ch. We handle such requests as quickly as possible.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Messages sent through the form pass through the hosting server and then the Discover Orca mailbox.
